Privacy Policy: Cozian

Cozian is a cozy digital pet game. It is built to need as little of your information as possible, and this page explains exactly what that means.

1. Data collection

Cozian does not collect, transmit, or store personal data on our servers. We do not have servers.

2. Local storage

All game progress, settings, and purchase entitlements are stored entirely on your own device. We have no access to this data. If you delete the app, your save data may be deleted too, unless your device has backed it up itself.

3. Analytics and tracking

Cozian contains no advertising software, and it does not track you across other apps or websites. Your play stays private.

4. In-app purchases

Purchases are handled by Apple's own App Store system. We never see or receive your payment details.

To confirm a purchase, and to restore it if you reinstall the app, Cozian uses a service called RevenueCat. Apple sends RevenueCat the receipt for the item you bought, and RevenueCat tells the app which items you own. RevenueCat receives your purchase history only. It is not given your name, your email address, or your Apple account details, and we attach no identifier of our own, the app uses an anonymous ID, so purchases are not linked to your identity. Once a purchase is confirmed, what you own is stored on your device.

5. Children

Cozian is gentle by design and suitable for all ages. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children either.

6. Changes to this policy

If what the app does ever changes, this page is updated, and the effective date above changes with it.
